This blog is an extension of my classroom. Currently I’m using it to communicate with my students, their parents, and anyone else who cares to check in on the happenings in my class. Throughout the year, I’ll be posting student work, cool websites, profiles, and hopefully some interactive elements. Please give me some feedback.

Hi. I teach 6th grade math. I love your site. Especially the way you are able to use sketchcast, which I’d never seen before. I do have a computer in my room for the teacher, plus two (one broken) for students. The only other technology I have is an old TV and an old overhead projector (without a working lightbulb). I never use that stuff (just about every site on the internet is blocked by our district) and just rely on good old dry erase markers which I seem to dry up quickly. Now that the summers here, I’m working on being a little more hip about web 2.0, etc. which is why I’m so excited and thrilled to learn how you are able to use the web so effectively.
