[...] 4. ProProfs - This online app has a lot of capabilities, but my favorite is the online flashcards. I start by having my students write questions and answers they think might be on our test. Once they show me a paper version and I approve their question, they can go to a computer and type it into proprofs. Once done, the flashcards are embedded into my blog (see example).
[...] 3. Voicethread - My use of Voicethread in the classroom only hits the tip of the iceberg for this program’s capabilities, but it keeps things simple. Using a single account, I log into it on several computers. Beforehand, I upload pictures that I’ve taken, or ones the students have drawn, to a new voicethread. During class, the students go to one of the computers and record themselves telling about the picture on the voicethread. When it’s done, I post it to my blog (see example here).
Hi. I teach 6th grade math. I love your site. Especially the way you are able to use sketchcast, which I'd never seen before. I do have a computer in my room for the teacher, plus two (one broken) for students. The only other technology I have is an old TV and an old overhead projector (without a working lightbulb). I never use that stuff (just about every site on the internet is blocked by our district) and just rely on good old dry erase markers which I seem to dry up quickly. Now that the summers here, I'm working on being a little more hip about web 2.0, etc. which is why I'm so excited and thrilled to learn how you are able to use the web so effectively. You can check out my site (less than a week old) at walsh.edublogs.org. Hopefully, I'll be growing it rather quickly. Taleese

I am doing my experiment on eyesight. I had just tested 6 adults eyes and 1 of them was a myopian (someone who can see nearsighted). I started today, April 2, on 3 4th graders, and I need to test 3 more. Beside that, my experiment is going well.
